PHILOSOPHY

The study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline.

DUE DILIGENCE NEEDED
Discover the Difference Nature Makes

Nature makes a big difference in all our lives. Whether you know it or not, most synthetic material is derived or copied from a natural source. From aspirin to opioids to Zylon you'll find a plethora of materials that are synthetic. Are they ALL bad for us? Well, that's a mighty big grey area and most of it depends on what you would be using it for. While some people can tolerate waiting on the natural occurrence of herbs to ease suffering in one form or another, there are many still who cannot. Pain tolerance, immune system, body chemistry, and many more variables can make the difference between if natural vs. synthetic is going to work for you.

The link above is a great blog I found that briefly covers what I've been talking about in a bit more detail.

The controversy on whether or not it is GOOD for you is a totally different subject. Not all synthetics are bad for us and not all of nature is good for us.

What WE need to do, as an individual, is EDUCATE ourselves and stop relying on others to give us information. Let us do OUR due diligence by researching and reading and carefully looking at all sides unbiasedly and taking into consideration that a "trusted" source could be mistaken just as easily and erroneously as an "untrusted" source.

100%
Sustainability

Medicinal plants are disappearing at high speeds due to the over harvesting, the lack of sowing, and the rising need for personal wellness all over the world.

I only source from businesses that pride themselves in using sustainable resourced products, and will always advise others to do so as well.

We can all do our part in keeping the herbs we need and love in abundance by using them only when needed, not wasting what we have on hand, and planting our own herbs all by ourselves when we can.

Conservation, adaptation, and improvement in all aspects of the nature of business and the business of nature need to be in the forefront of all our minds. This is a world wide effort that needs everyone's attention.

Never Tested
on Animals

This excerpt below has been taken from a website called: Leaping Bunny dot org with its "Leaping Bunny Program". It is a program in place to ensure those of us that are cruelty conscious to made informed and intelligent choices on the products we want to use in our day to day lives. This isn't for herbs themselves as they are merely harvested. It is for any cosmetic line for whatever company you use to include soaps and many other beauty or skin care products.

-"MYTH

IF A PRODUCT SAYS "CRUELTY-FREE" OR HAS A BUNNY ON IT, THAT MEANS IT HAS NOT BEEN TESTED ON ANIMALS.

FACT

The reality is, there currently is no regulation in the United States or Canada for the term 'cruelty-free'. Claims such as "cruelty-free" or "not tested on animals," or even the simple image of a bunny on a label may only refer to the finished product, when in fact, nearly all animal testing occurs at the ingredient level. Furthermore, while a company may claim, "We do not test on animals," it could still contract other companies to do the testing. The only way to be 100% certain a company is cruelty-free is to buy products from companies that have been certified by the Leaping Bunny Program, which requires that no new animal testing be used in any phase of product development by the company, its laboratories, or ingredient suppliers."-

I really like this concept.
